SYEMAAT , daughter of a First Nations Chief; was born and raised on her Grandmother's farm in the coastal rainforest of British Columbia, Canada; next to her Aunt Catherine's homestead; last of the Squamish Shamans.
She spent many of her young years gathering herbs and roots with her family, learning the ways of the ancient people.
Like many of her generation she left for civilization and did not return to her roots for many years.
Her call to SHAMANISM came on the day she was diagnosed with CANCER and literally sent home to die.
Outside the Doctors office, through a cloud of tears, she saw a RAVEN sitting by her car and loudly talking to her. She stood there for a brief moment; listening. The memory of her Aunt SHAMAN Catherine flashed before her eyes, standing under a great oak tree , talking to the ravens. AND AT THAT MOMENT SHE UNDERSTOOD HER CALLING
That was many years ago......
The years went by and she has conquered her cancer; slowly gathering her power to help to heal others.
Today she is a respected shaman herbalist dedicating her life to teach others to heal themselves. Her herbal remedies are sent around the globe gathering testimonials to the efficacy of her abilities. Shaman Syemaat Herbalist
